Christmas star
A hanging Moravian star that appears just for fun from Advent to Epiphany (early January). Give it a swing — or switch it off here if you’d rather not have it.
About the Christmas star
The many-pointed Moravian star is a treasured Christmas tradition, first made by pupils at a Moravian school in Germany in the 1800s as a geometry lesson, and now hung in Moravian homes and churches through Advent as a sign of Christ, the Light of the World, and the Star of Bethlehem.
This little star is just for fun, from Advent to Epiphany. Tap it, give it a swing — and if you’d rather not have it, switch it off above.
